On Saturday 7th July, St James Garlickhythe is playing host to the final of The Ringing World National Youth Contest. This annual event held in different cities each year sees 22 teams of young ringers from all over the country compete for the Whitechapel Trophy. On Trinity Sunday we will be celebrating Choral Matins at St Michael Paternoster Royal, according to the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. The choir will be the English Chamber Choir. The Te Deum will be Stanford in B flat. the anthem is I saw the Lord by Stainer.Please join us.

 St James is having to close for a short time in order for scaffolding inside the church to be removed. We will be celebrating Whitsunday at St Michael Paternoster Royal, which is a minute away from St James at the normal time, 1030. Hopefully we will be back home for Trinity Sunday but you will be kept posted.
